Now that the year is halfway through, it’s a wonderful opportunity to check in with your goals, health, finances, and more.
Most people start the year out strong with goals and resolutions to carry them through the new year, but successful people regularly check-in to assess the progress they’re making.
Heading into the second half of the year is the perfect time toask yourself -
Should I hit the “reset” button?
The process of resetting can be overwhelming, and even simple daily tasks can get away from us. Feeling a lack of energy and motivation towards your goals, whether they’re physical,career-oriented, or financial in nature.
So, here’s what you need to know when it comes time to reboot:
Check in
Goal setting enhances cognitive performance. However, doing so without considering our emotional state can increase stress & negatively affect performance.
Practicing compassion & creating small, actionable steps can help.
Assess
Determine where you really stand. Review your progress thus far: Financial goals (spending, saving, investing), physical (exercise, diet, health-checks) and more.
Revise
Create a plan & set it in motion for the remainder of the year. Simple and concrete steps lead to more successful outcomes.
Execute
Do your best to follow the revised plan to achieve your goals & wrap up a successful 2024!
